MARK YOUR CALENDAR!

April 15 is Canada’s Workplace Mental Health Day!

Join us on social media: #workplaceMH

We want to hear your stories about workplace mental health!

What are you doing to make your workplace healthier? Share your experiences, successes & ideas on social media (#workplaceMH) on April 15, 2020.

Whether you’re an employee, executive, people leader or CEO, we all have a role to play in making our workplaces healthier. We all know that having a work-life balance is not just good for you — it is vital to sustaining good mental health. And we all have mental health — the way we all have physical health. But work and workplaces can be stressful, and stress can affect our well-being. At MHRC, we believe we all need to step up and do more. People leaders and HR teams can make mental health programs available, executives and CEOs can make them a priority, and everyone in the workplace can contribute in positive ways. Have you thought about how you impact mental health in your workplace? Share your ideas (big or small) on April 15 with us!

We also engage with our stakeholders across Canada

At MHRC, our stakeholders inform our priorities, from businesses to associations, and community agencies to people with lived experience.

We are holding sessions in different provinces to hear what barriers exist for workplace mental health, and to find out how we help. We will be in Newfoundland on March 26 and Nova Scotia on March 27.

We will also be visting Alberta and New Brunwick, with more sessions planned in the future.
